Your career information belongs to you.

Effective August 24, 2026. This beta notice explains the information AutoMatch currently handles and the controls available to members.

Information you provide

AutoMatch stores your account identity, contact details, automotive career history, brands, departments, specialties, opportunity preferences, privacy settings, messages, invitations, connections, endorsements, feedback, safety reports, verification requests, and beta-testing information that you choose to submit.

How information is used

We use this information to operate professional profiles, matching, confidential opportunities, verified-dealership search, member connections, endorsements, safety review, and product improvement. AutoMatch does not label a professional as “job hunting.”

Professional visibility

You control whether verified dealerships see your profile, see an anonymous professional profile, or cannot find you. Contact information is withheld until you respond positively to a confidential opportunity. Member-card and network-discovery controls are separate. Pausing professional presence hides your profile, stops new opportunities, and disables your public card without deleting existing conversations.

Dealership access and verification

Dealership representatives must submit an employer profile and receive founder approval before accessing private talent-search features. Professional verification is a founder review of career information already in the member profile; it is not a background check, employment guarantee, or license. Verification reduces misuse but is not an endorsement.

Service providers and disclosure

AutoMatch uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure to host and operate the service, Supabase to provide passwordless email authentication, and Resend to deliver authentication email. Existing beta members may also choose ChatGPT sign-in. These providers process limited information on AutoMatch's behalf to provide hosting, security, identity, and email delivery. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to protect members, investigate abuse, comply with law, or complete a user-requested service. We do not sell member profile information during the public beta.

Export, retention, and deletion

Members can download a structured copy of their AutoMatch information from Account & Data. Members may request permanent deletion and cancel before processing begins. Founder-confirmed deletion removes professional and dealership profiles, career history, opportunities, invitations, private messages, connections, endorsements, public-card links, feedback, tester-review notes, safety reports, and related account records. A non-identifying deletion record may remain to document completion. Supabase or ChatGPT identity records maintained outside AutoMatch's application database are governed by the applicable provider and may require a separate request.

Security and beta limitations

We use access controls, founder-only review routes, verification gates, outreach limits, and member privacy controls, but no online service can promise absolute security. Do not include Social Security numbers, banking information, driver-license images, or other highly sensitive personal data in a profile or message.

Changes

This notice may change as the beta develops. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, renewed member consent.
